Plum Tart

A galette is a fancy way to say free form tart. It’s one of the easiest desserts to make, and is great for using up any fruit you have laying around. Try some october sun plums, slightly tart, sweet flavour works perfectly.


3-4 Large October sunrise (or your-
favourite) Plums
1Tbl Apple Juice Concentrate
Pinch Cinnamon and sugar
1 Sheet Short crust pastry


Slice fruit and place in center of pastry in your favourite pattern.
Add Apple juice concentrate.
Gently fold over edges of pastry, then sprinkle top with cinnamon, sugar, and a pat of butter.
Place in 180C oven for about 30 minutes or until golden.
